Crypto BD outbound: email, Telegram or LinkedIn?

Where crypto BD people can actually be reached, what each channel is good for, and the order that books calls without burning your domain or your Telegram account.

The short answer

Email first, from your own domain, one email per person. LinkedIn to check who the person is before you write. Telegram once they have said yes, in a group with both teams in it.

Where the people are

The live figures from the network show here once enough people are researched. Until then, the rest of this guide stands on its own.

Email: the first touch

Email reaches people who have never added you, lands in a work inbox, carries your company's domain, and puts every reply in one place. It stops working the moment it looks like a campaign. What breaks it:

  • Role inboxes. support@, security@ and press@ are read by nobody who can say yes. In Squidlor's first five lists, 125 of 473 addresses were role inboxes.
  • Sequences. Four emails to the same person tell them you are a tool, not a person. Send one good email per person, with a real reason to reply.
  • Tracking pixels and HTML. Plain text with at most one link reads like a person wrote it, because one did.
  • Volume. A new mailbox should start around ten a day. Introwire adds three a day and never goes past thirty.
  • Bounces. Past 2%, stop and clean the list before the domain pays for it.

Before the first send, check your sending domain and score the email. Both are free.

Telegram: where the deal closes

Crypto deals close in Telegram, but a cold message there is the riskiest first touch you can send. Telegram's own spam FAQ says an account reported for messaging strangers can be limited, and asks people to only contact those who are "expecting messages from you". Your Telegram account is the one your deals run through.

So use Telegram after a yes: a group with your team and theirs, your intro posted, every question answered there. Introwire opens that group for you when a reply says yes.

LinkedIn: checking, not blasting

LinkedIn is the best place to confirm that someone still holds the role, what they posted lately, and who you know in common. Use it to sharpen the reason in your email, and as a second, softer touch after they reply. Do not automate it: LinkedIn's user agreement rules out bots that send messages or add contacts, and getting around its limits.

The order that books calls

  1. Pick the projects that need what you sell, and the one person at each who runs BD.
  2. Read their LinkedIn and their latest launch. Write one line on why now.
  3. Send one plain-text email from your own domain, at a pace that stays under thirty a day per mailbox.
  4. When they reply, answer within the hour. When they say yes, open a Telegram group with both teams.
  5. If there is no reply in three days, try the next person at that company, never the same person twice.

See how often it works: reply rates from every Introwire workspace. And who has the budget this week: crypto companies hiring BD.

Run the email part on autopilot, with your yes on every reply.

Introwire finds the projects and the people, writes each email with a reason to reply, sends from your mailboxes at a safe pace, and opens the Telegram group when they say yes. Free for one mailbox.
